Our output will be from our main office "Tambopata Tours" and this will be according to your arrival (airplane or bus). In the Office your guide will give you some information and additional recommendations about excursions to develop.
To then go to the port of Puerto Maldonado, where a canoe will take us 1 hour's journey through the majestic River Madre de Dios, where to reach our hostel and throughout the property, as well as a delicious lunch.
Our first activity will take place in a special area where you will have the opportunity to interact with several species of monkeys, such as: Tamarin, Capuchin, squirrel and spider monkeys. All these species of monkey coming out and sharing in a unique island with lush vegetation where huge Ceiba trees, Cecropias, Ficus trees and some other tropical vegetations. It is a very nice place where you can get good pictures about monkeys and make just above you are hanging from the branches of trees.
Before dinner we go for a walk with flashlights in search of small and interesting creatures spooky as Scorpions, tarantulas, tree frogs, snakes, tree and some owls along the way. Your ride will be surrounded by the night sounds of the animals which will be an unforgettable experience in the darkness of the forest.
Here our full-day and this activity will leave the hostel at 6:00 am to take a boat engine for 20 minutes up to
the main entrance of Lake Sandoval. Then we walked for 1 hour in the Tambopata national reserve, where we will
learn about the entire ecosystem of the forest and looking at the same time the animals all this led by our
professional guides who will be there to tell them all the exact details you need to know about your trip to the jungle.
Along this walk beside the monkeys also found some interesting as macaws, snakes, rodents, turkeys
shrubs animals and a variety of colored butterflies which gives you a feeling of paradise.
After 1 hour walk we finally arrive at the Lake and take another boat rowing which we will enjoy the beautiful Lake and follow around the shore in search of animals such as: alligators, turtles, Punk chicks, cormorants, Anhingas, martines fishermen and secure the playful troop of giant otters. Lunch can be enjoyed in a place with a beautiful view to the Lake and then you can go to take a bath in the water of the Lake and be very refreshing to feel the temperature of the water of the Amazon, after the ride on the Lake and go for some walks by the reservation in search of a little more than wildlife. Your guide will then let you know an appropriate time to leave the Lake and walk back to the River, where a motor boat will take you back to our hostel.
This excursion is the gran Madre de Dios River where we leave by boat with flashlights to find caimans tend to be more attractive at night and can be found on the shore, go to the places where is can get near vision and be able to take photos of these harmless reptiles.
We will visit a few indigenous groups older across southern Peruvian jungle where we will share the way how they live as well as some additional details of the history of the people living in that place, its dialects, crafts, customs, beside this information also can join this people in their traditional activities such as dances , food and cooperate with them with their local products. It will be a very interesting visit received by these friendly people.
Day of adventure with programs that change your way of enjoying the jungle, which we started walking on the Bridges in the treetops with stunning scenery and a number of colorful birds accompanying their visit with their songs. Then continue with another activity that requires lots of adrenaline, the Tirolinea, which will be a glass of tree to another by ropes of 110metros, all this noon, then go for lunch and rest for a moment so that in the evening we go to the river where we will continue our adventure, this time will be Kayak, small boats that will make you cool and enjoy the warm waters of the mother of God, always supervised by your guide and a boat accompanying them on their journey.
Here we will visit an interesting place where you can make at least two hours of walking, this will be according to what we see on the road, this ride is parallel to the Creek and we can see different types of forest, we can also do some fishing in the Creek and after the hike will take a small boat to navigate this all the way until you reach the main river stream. On the road we are exposing some animals such as monkeys, toucans, caimans, butterflies and some turtles along the Brook. This place is very quiet and peaceful.
The activity of this afternoon it will be around the lodge where we will walk for a few hours in which
we will have the opportunity to see different types of vegetation; huge trees with well developed root
system that makes them seem unbelievable.
This tour is part of our programme of adventure in the jungle, where we will learn about the appropriate
plants that have been used by the local population, here also we can use and learn to recognize these
plants, you will also learn some tips for survival in the jungle.
On his last day, you will have the opportunity to do some activities before leaving the hostel, but this will be coordinated in the night before, so this way you will return full-time to the city to take your flight or bus. It should be remembered that the way back from the hostel is 1 hour approximately
